Obituary

Leyton Robert Lindsey, 1, of North Powder, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital, Boise, Idaho. A Memorial Service will be held at the North Powder School Gymnasium on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 2:00pm.

Leyton was born on September 30, 2017 in La Grande, Oregon to Trevor Lindsey and Katherine Moore. Leyton always loved to dance. Didn’t matter what was playing. His all-time favorite song that put the biggest smile on his face was Baby Shark.

Leyton’s best friend and playmate was his cousin Madilynn. Both of them chased each other throughout the house laughing, and playing peek-a-boo with one another. He loved to make loud noises and his favorite loud noise was Nana’s pots and pan banging together. He was a mommy’s boy for sure. Even when mom made him mad by putting his beautiful long hair into a man bun. He always loved to have his snuggles afterwards.
Leyton and his big brothers were always dancing around the living room. Leyton loved to sit on top of them and pull their hairs, and laugh while doing so. Leyton’s brothers loved to help and play with him. We all love Leyton very much.

Leyton is survived by his parents, Trevor and Katherine; brothers, Brandon Sory and Michael Sory all of North Powder, OR; aunts and uncles, Chelsea Moore, Mackenzie Moore, Michelle Lewis, Shawn Wood and grandparents Raymond and Christine Moore. He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, John C. Moore.
