Tanna Jean Williams, 69 of Union, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at her residence. A viewing will be held at Loveland Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 9, 2019 8:00-10:00 am. A Graveside Service will be held at the Union Victorian Cemetery on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00am. The family prefers casual dress. A reception and meal will follow the graveside service at the Union VFW Hall.
Tanna was born on May 19, 1949 in Pendleton, Oregon to Earl and Mary Helen (Ryason) Griffin. She resided in Hermiston, Pendleton, La Grande, Portland and Union Oregon. She graduated from Hermiston High School and later graduated from Blue Mountain Community College. She married Edward L. Williams on July 17, 1971.
Tanna was employed with collection agencies. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, ceramics, painting, picking huckleberries, sewing, bowling, riding horses and spending time with her family at home and on vacations.
Tanna is survived by her husband, Edward; children, Jeffrey Williams (Meriah) of Prineville, OR, and Sheryl Nash (Justin) of Echo, OR; sister, Vickie Montgomery (Michael) of Greenleaf, ID; 3 grandchildren and 5 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mary Helen.
