Larry Joseph Matney Brown.  A Service will be held at Willamette National Cemetery on Friday, July 11, 2025. (Loveland Funeral Chapel is not involved in this service.)

 

Eva Shells (Brothers). A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 12:00 pm at 3002 E. Q Avenue, in La Grande, Oregon. (Loveland Funeral Chapel is not involved in this service.)

 

Gerald “Jerry” L. Hays. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 10:00am at the Vernonia Memorial Cemetery in Vernonia, OR.  

 

Joyce Ione McPhetridge. A Service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Grande Ronde Academy located on 507B Palmer Ave, La Grande, OR., at 10:00am. Casual dress. Brunch to be served immediately following the service. (Loveland Funeral Chapel is not involved in this service.)

 

Arlis Ladean Rohan. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 10:00am at Loveland Funeral Chapel in La Grande, OR. Reception following at the Barrel Room in Island City.

 

Arnie Krause. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 2:00pm at the Elgin High School in Elgin, OR., followed by a dinner at The Elgin Community Center. (Loveland Funeral Chapel is not involved in this service.)

 

James “Jim” Guy Twisselman. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 4:00pm at the Catherine Creek Community Center in Union, OR. A chance to share memories and stories about Jim with family and friends. Pulled pork sandwiches will be served. Please bring a salad or dessert if you would like.  (Loveland Funeral Chapel is not involved in this service.)

 

Ellen Jean Blackman. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Loveland Funeral Chapel, La Grande, at 10:00 am. Casual dress is preferred by the family.  A Full obituary will be published at a later time. Loveland Funeral Chapel and Crematory will be handling the arrangements.  

 

 

Wallowa County Services

 

 

Karleen R. Gomes.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 2:00pm at The Chief Joseph Days Rodeo’s “Thunder Room” in Joseph, OR. Following the service there will be a potluck. The meat will be provided. Please feel free to bring a side dish if you would like.
